Challenge: Working with the statement of stockholders' equity

(bright music) - It's time for your final challenge. And once again, I want you to explore the actual financials of your chosen public company. This time, take on these three steps. One, find the statement of stockholders' equity for your chosen public company. Two, notice the common stock, additional paid in capital, retained earnings, and treasury stock columns. And three, note where the greatest changes were in each of these items. You may find that your company has more types of stock, and it might also show accumulated other comprehensive income which is what we use to record unrealized gains or losses on certain transactions. Enjoy reading the story of your chosen company this one last time. You are nearly finished with the financial story you've been revealing one chapter at a time.
