(upbeat music) - As a PMO leader, you're probably giving several presentations a week. Presentations always cover challenges but I find it even more difficult when presenting to executives. Let's look at a real-life challenge when presenting to executives. Suppose that as a PMO leader, you're accountable for leading a portfolio of 40 projects across the IT department at your organization. While most of the projects are doing fine this month, three projects from the portfolio are in rest status and needs some serious help. The first project needs an additional $50,000 to account for the newly identified scope. The second needs to extend its launch by one month. This will have a ripple effect on the implementation of another major initiative. And the third project needs team members for two months. Those team members must be borrowed from other projects.
