- When I was a kid, we used to play a game called Telephone. We would all stand in a straight line, the person at the front of the line would whisper a word or a phrase to the person standing behind them. That person would repeat the word or phrase they heard to the person behind them. And down the line it went until it reached that last person. Once it reached the last person, they had to yell out the word and hope it was the same word or phrase that began the game. Or if you were a terrible kid like I was, you would change the word on purpose. The game was simple, but it wasn't easy. Most of the time the word or phrase would stay the same, but when it ended up being something completely different it was hilarious. Sales and marketing communication is no game of Telephone.
