- [Narrator] Let's hear the answer to this question and I'll give my thoughts on how it goes at the end. - A cost-cutting happens all the time in business so we need to make sure that the whole team understands that it is not personal. I would start by looking at any tasks maybe that could be eliminated or any expenses that could be reduced. Then we need to remember that projects are based balanced between scope, schedule, and budget. So if we need to cut the budget, maybe we can elongate the project out for a longer period of time and save money that way. Or maybe there are some scopes that could be removed from the project. Well, in other words, maybe there's some things that we can decide not to do because they're less important. Then once the team comes up with a new plan that fits the lower budget we should change the schedule and the budget and get those changes approved and make sure we communicate those…
