Eight years ago. I was working as an engineer at a robotics company. I love that job but not for the reasons you'd probably expect. Well a big part of the job involved designing custom tooling for the robots. I realized that the thing that I liked the most was when I would get invited to participate in sales pitch presentations. Which fortunately happened a lot. I was the most extroverted engineer on our team. So they knew I'd say yes when they needed a more technical rep to come along and answer complex questions.
