(bright uplifting music) - Growing up, my mom worked as a wedding planner. When my brothers and I got old enough to actually sit still, she'd sometimes bring us into her customer meetings. While a lot of the time was spent coloring and drawing, as I got older, I started to pay attention. I loved how effortlessly my mom managed her customers and how committed she was to making sure all of their questions were answered, and assuring every aspect of their big day was a wonderful experience. I ended up working for her business during the summers throughout college, and that's when I realized that I was also really good at managing customer relationships and extremely detailed projects.
