- [Announcer] Here's how someone who's interviewing for an account exec might answer this question, I'll come right back in a minute with some feedback. - Oh I think I was destined for a career in sales. When I was eight I joined the swim team in our neighborhood pool, I was just looking for something to do, but I very quickly realized that I absolutely love competition. And swimming, which I continued all through high school, I loved challenging myself to beat my best times at every meet. I would figure out what I should eat before each meet, I'd look at strength training videos, I'd study technique, I'd watch videos of my races to see where I could improve and I'm motivated in sales in a very similar way. I continually strive to beat my last big deal, to surpass the quotas that I met even more than I did from the previous month or year.
