My company had just announced a new technology that allowed manufacturers to add materials to their molds and reuse them for next generation products. And you can imagine the potential time and cost savings on a product like this, you would no longer have to throw away your old mold, you can change the existing one and use it over and over again, I couldn't wait to start selling it. But what I didn't realize was that as I began sharing the news with current customers, there were still bugs in the system.
