- I was once leading a home renovation project and found myself having to explain, again, where I wanted the bathroom tile to be placed to my general contractor. He kept trying to talk me into a different direction but I wasn't convinced. And when I put my foot down and restated my decision, he looked at me, smiled, and said, "Well, well, look at you being all bratty." Now, do you think he would have called my husband bratty for doing the same? He actually didn't because my husband who happened to be standing right next to me when all of this went down, spoke up in my defense, reiterating the direction we needed to move the project in once again.
