- It's important to remember that the CBAP examination is a standardized test. This means it's highly structured. You get three and a half hours to complete 120 multiple choice questions. That's right, all multiple choice, and no penalty for guessing. But yes, you will, and should, take all three and a half hours to finish. This is because the exam questions are both scenario and case study based. This means they'll give you a situation described in one to one and a half pages, and then ask you a series of questions about that situation. These case studies, and the overall exam content, is based on the BABOK Guide. Specifically, the questions will center around the BABOK Guide's six knowledge areas. Your exam will break out the questions as follows: as commonly associated with business analyst, requirements will be the main focus of the content knowledge.
