- As a leader, your job is to create the kind of relationship with your team where they would follow you into a fire and know that they will make it back out safely. This requires a deep sense of trust and respect for you. We know that transparency leads to this deep sense of trust. But communicating transparently isn't just about telling the truth all the time.
