Build the plan
- I've seen so many great managers come up with great ideas based on clearly identified gaps, set up coalitions with enthusiastic stakeholders, but then they fail to actually enact their big idea because they didn't communicate a well laid out plan. So it's vital that you take the time to make sure that your plan is built and that people know what their role is and what you're expecting of them. I don't want you to make this mistake, so here are eight key checkpoints to hit when you're building a well-established plan. One, is your plan consistent with your analysis? Going back through and making sure that you are solving what you set up to solve is essential to avoid project creep and shifts from initial goals.
