(upbeat music) - Hi there desk yogis. I'm Anne Van de Water, and today I'm going to help you with some conscience breathing practices for when you're feeling stuck at work. We're going to be doing some breathing for when you are feeling scattered. So we're going to start by sitting up tall like this just because it will help you to start already getting into the groove of breathing more deeply. So just make sure that your feet are flat on the ground, and that you're sitting up tall, and your shoulders are relaxed, and that you just feel at ease. So did you know that your breathing greatly affects your brainwaves? Normally, you're in a beta state. That's when you feel really present, and alert, and focused, but if you are feeling stress mentally or emotionally, or you're feeling tension in your body you can easily go out of the beta state brainwave.
