- Women are breaking through the glass ceiling. But they're doing it in different ways. I take shondaland is like the best example. I was having a conversation with someone about Grey's anatomy and the way I was like, 'cause when Grey's anatomy came out, we didn't all know who Shonda was. It was just Grey's anatomy and you really knew the characters and all of that. It really was until Scandal, you were like, Oh, wait a minute, this is, Oh, I get what's happening here. And you see that excellence year after year after year and then creating this whole empire that she has now. Oprah in a different way. And those are like your penultimates of that kind of big success. I think for those of us who work in a more corporate environment and love that, it's really about having conversations with leaders and letting them know what it is you want to do.
