Breaking down the job: Time to practice
(upbeat music) - Okay, now that we have a better understanding of what a job breakdown is and how to write one, we'd like you to practice. So if you're watching this video in a group, we'd like you to revisit one of your team's demonstrations from earlier today in order to collectively agree on what the important steps, key points and reasons are. Here's a process we suggest you follow. Have the volunteer do the job While a facilitator documents the process on a whiteboard or flip chart. All of the other learners in the room should also follow along with their own job breakdown sheets. When the job has been advanced, the person doing the job should stop and explain what was done. It can also help if a facilitator or others in the class simply call out, "What did you do there?" Once they assess the work has been advanced.
