Beware the narcissist
- One of the most difficult bosses to work for is the narcissist. Narcissist bosses have an overinflated sense of self, an overinflated sense of entitlement. Narcissist's care more about their success and their self promotion than they do about their team, their organization, or you. If you find yourself working for a narcissist, I'm going to give you a couple of strategies to help you survive and maybe even thrive. First of all, you're going to want to assess is it worth it? Assess the upsides. Narcissists tend to be very successful people. They tend to rise to the top of organizations and systems, so it could be worth it for you to work for a narcissist. But please know that if you do, you are going to have to play that game, so you must be prepared to fluff that ego, be prepared to praise the narcissist a lot.
