- [Narrator] The workload view in monday.com provides an intuitive visual method for seeing what people are working on and what their workloads are like. Each person is listed on the left. Well, let's start by looking at the settings for this view. So up at the top right, I'm going to click settings and that opens up the panel. The first thing you want to look at is the time columns. I'm using the timeline, that way effort is shown by the timeframe for the tasks. The resource type is more of a grouping mechanism. Here it's set to owner, so I can see the workloads for each person, but you could also switch to show effort by status, priority or groups. Next, under measure effort by I've selected, add effort. That way I can see the effort by time period. I created the planned hours field and added it to the board, so that's what I'm using for effort.
