- One huge advantage to authenticity is that it eradicates fear and it delivers hope. I was talking recently with the CEO of a huge company, and you could obviously tell that he was distraught when considering how many people were in fear because of the times we're living in. Many people think this is the worst time for our country, the worst time for our world, but when you are authentic, it's because you know where you are headed. And when you know where you are headed, when you know the direction you're going and when you know the vision that you have, you can be authentic because who you are is what you do, it's your motivation, it's your why. And so in being authentic and truly connecting with others and connecting with your real self, you can have hope for the future. We are all in a battle inside of our minds.
