- In your career, I bet you've worked for a variety of managers. When you have a great manager, work is fun, you get more done, and you achieve big goals. But when you have a manager that isn't so great, well, we know how that goes. Great managers are not born this way. They develop skills, practice them, failed at times, and learned how to be just that: great managers. And you can do the same. My name is Eric Zackrison. I'm a professor, consultant, and I've managed and owned businesses for nearly 30 years. One of the things I'm most proud of in my career is the number of people that I've helped move into management, who now run their own divisions, their own companies. In this course, I'll show you the things you need to know to get started on the right path. I'll share a few key challenges, and give you the tools to overcome them. I'll help you understand where your power comes from, and how to use it to lead others. By the end of this course, you'll be equipped with the skills to take you from supervisor to great leader. So now, if you're ready to dive in, let's go.
