- One of our values is moving fast, and it actually has been a very important core value, although it has been updated throughout our history. In the beginning, it was all about moving fast, and that was the mantra, and that included being okay with breaking things and not having everything be perfect. Done is better than perfect was another saying. As we are now entering our 14th year and we have two billion people on the platform, we are very much balancing moving fast but building stable infrastructure because we have an incredible responsibility to the two billion people that utilize Facebook around the world or the over billion people that use WhatsApp and Messenger or the 800 million accounts on Instagram to be a platform that they can depend on, be a platform that is safe. We also have a tremendous responsibility to the five million-plus advertisers that depend on us to drive and grow their business. And so we are balancing almost on a daily basis the speed at which we operate…
