- Sometimes it seems the demands on you at work and at home are always becoming more difficult. On top of that, you're a hard worker, and you're chasing meaningful goals. Together, these factors suggest that you will experience stress. That's completely normal. However, sometimes stress gets too high, and sometimes we don't manage stress effectively. For some people, every few years this leads to a condition we call burnout. That means a loss of focus and interest at work. The experience of serious fatigue and other difficult reactions. The good news is that it doesn't have to happen. Hi, I'm Todd Dewett, author and coach. In this course, I'll address what it means to understand and manage the triggers that lead to this condition and how burnout can be avoided. Further, if burnout does happen, I'll share the steps that you can take to move forward with recovery. We have a lot to do, so let's get started.
