- You may want to start performing a weekly self-assessment that tracks what you've learned that week. What do you know now that you didn't know then? It could be something that you set out intentionally to learn. You've done research on it. You've spent time looking into it. You went and asked somebody specifically. But it might also be things that you've learned unintentionally or lessons that you've derived from your activities. This is an important step because so often once we've learned something, it gets incorporated into us and we forget that there was ever a time we didn't know it. So to notice that you are always learning and growing can give you a greater sense of satisfaction in your life. I once had a client who was extremely shy and extremely quiet, but part of the reason she had come to me is that she knew I had a background in comedic improvisation and she wanted to start studying improvisational comedy.…
