- [Instructor] Under the masonry section of the repair estimator, this is going to be covering the brick exterior even the fireplace, or sometimes even the foundation. If you notice there's sections in there for fireplace and chimney. Now, if you're unsure about the fireplace this is one of those other areas where you want to have a a trained professional or trained fireplace inspector coming in and check out the fireplace and the chimney to ensure that the brick doesn't need any work done. And again, when we're looking at the masonry section or the brick and concrete block we're looking for obvious signs of cracking or shifting, or maybe mortar that's non-existent or cracking and falling out and if we need to just maybe re-tuck point the brick or the block, notice we have a section in there to just tuck point the brick or whatever it is we're going to take the square footage of that particular area that needs work done…
