- You know, sometimes I get the feeling that job seekers view us recruiters as, well, let's say the evil gatekeeper, or the annoying paper-pushers. But, you know, a great recruiter can be a super valuable ally for you and your job search. And you know what? We have every incentive for you to do well through this process. Remember, a successful placement is a success for that recruiter, whether that's an internal recruiter or external. Therefore, they're going to want to help you put your best foot forward. All that said, I wouldn't hesitate to ask a recruiter for some help as you prepare for that interview. I would ask them some questions. Maybe you ask them, who will I be interviewing with and what should I expect? Or what's the format for this interview? Do you have some tips on how I can put my best foot forward?
