- We know that people often associate salespeople with a used car salesman. While not usually accurate or fair, in most cases, people think of salespeople as pushy and more focused on their commission than they are actually helping them solve the problem. Nobody wants to talk to a salesperson with the dreaded commission breath. The sad reality is, salespeople before us have created this stereotype, and that's why it exists.
