- Have you ever seen the movie The Devil Wears Prada? In it, an intern deals with an editor-in-chief who is quite the micromanager and who is never satisfied with anything she puts forth. But throughout the movie, the intern gets smart and starts to anticipate the ridiculous requests of her manager, including getting advance copies of the last installment of the Harry Potter series. If you want to succeed with a micromanager you have got to be like this intern. You've got to anticipate your manager's concern and get ahead of what they may need.
