Anticipate and adapt to the new normal

- The characteristic of a crisis is things are never going back to the way they were. You think they are, oh, we'd like to get back to business as usual. You know what? It never works out that way. Whether it's the banking system after 2008 and '09, it didn't go back to the way, everything had changed. Whether it was America during and after the coronavirus, things are changing. And so I think we've got to look at how leaders perceive what that new normal might be. And you, as a leader, need to step up to that, to try and understand what it's going to be and then how can my organization win in that new environment? How can we contribute to the success in that new environment and how can we adapt our company quickly to all of the changes we have to make? It's never going to be like the old times, so maybe some of the businesses that we had are not going to work out, but we have to go to what are the really important things…
