Answering questions

- When you're being interviewed, you're pretty much just answering questions. And I want to say a bit about question answering techniques. We're going to look in detail at exact questions that you'll probably get asked and what the answers are to those. But I just want to say some stuff generally about how to answer questions. So my first point is keep each answer short. Not too short. Don't sit there and just go yes or no. But ideally you would rephrase the question, give a short answer and then a piece of supporting evidence. So when they say give me example of a successful sale. You could say, well okay so an example of a successful sale would have been... So just rephrase the question, give the answer, and then just one piece of evidence, one story or one example. So you don't want to ramble on for ages. Next, don't make any negative comments about previous employees or bosses or even co-workers. So if they say what…
