- The fortune is in the follow-up. When you're asking for something, following up is a critical step toward getting it. In this case, you're asking your team to take a strengths-based approach to their work, so you'll need to decide how you're going to follow up your team's strengths meeting in order to turn theory into action, that's where your follow-up plan comes in. I recommend doing this as part of your team's strengths meeting, but you can break it into a second meeting if that works better for you. Let's check in with the manager we're helping, Nicole, and talk about how to create a follow-up plan.
