Adopt a cause
- Even with all the thought and effort you put into your vision and values. Sometimes there are jobs that make it difficult to find a meaningful connection. Perhaps you're putting up with them for no other reason than to pay the bills or maybe you're already finding some meaning in your Workday, but you want even greater fulfillment. If you find yourself in either of these situations may I suggest that you adopt a cause. By a cause, I mean a charitable movement, someone else has created that speaks to your personal values. Envision for example, cancer research or reducing homelessness or caring for animals. What do charitable causes have to do with your career? At the beginning of this course our goal was to help you move beyond just providing for your basic needs or performing your job to a place of achievement and fulfillment.
