- One of the best pieces of advice I ever got about business was this, look for the win-win, win-win, win-win, win. Look for the win-win, win-win, win-win, win. We're not just looking for the win-win, not just good for me and good for you, but good for everybody. Good for the community, good for the venue, good for the parking guy, good for everyone that your product or service or event touches. And one way to do that is to add a charitable element or giving element to your product or service. That can be just as simple as picking a charity and saying, hey, we're donating some percentage of our proceeds to XYZ charity. Maybe one that's especially in line with the values of your business. Another way to do that is to say, hey, I'm charging X amount for this program or product or service, but for this particular program, a certain percentage is going to a charity.
