Acceptance criteria are unclear

- Without solid acceptance criteria, or AC, for every story, your team runs the risk of building the wrong thing. When that happens, the story won't be accepted by the product owner and will need to be redone. Remember, the AC define how you'll know the story is done and ready to be released. It means that there's no more work to be completed on that story. Most commonly, teams have AC that just aren't clear enough. Remember, AC provide the guidance needed for the developers and testers. You can help guide your team toward the right level of detail in the AC. Here are some ways to do that. First, don't make your PO write the AC completely on their own. While the PO has the first pass at the AC because of their business knowledge, they still can't do it alone. The rest of the development team should contribute their perspective toward the definition of the AC. Next, make sure the AC are in plain language everyone can understand.
