In the calendar application, you can store all of your appointments and set alerts to remind you about upcoming events. Depending on which email accounts you use, you may also be able to synchronize your calendar with other computers and devices. Navigate through the calendar, create new appointments, and set reminders.
- [Instructor] Let's talk about the calendar application…that comes with Mac OS.…It's simply called Calendar.…I have it in my dock,…so I can click on this icon to launch it.…I want to start by getting familiar with the interface.…There's a pretty good chance that what you see…in the calendar application looks different…from what I have here.…One of the reasons for that is the fact…that you can have different views…which are controlled by these buttons up here near the top.…So I'm currently looking at the Week view…which means I see one week worth of appointments…on my screen right now, from Sunday to Saturday.…
But we can change this view.…I can go to the Day view…and see just the appointments for one day.…I can go to the Month view and get an idea…of what's happening for the whole month.…Then there's the Year view which I don't find very useful,…so I usually like to go to the Month view…or the Week view, so we'll go back to the Week view.…Now there's also this little controller…near the top right corner…where you can flip to other periods of time.…
