In this video, use the Reminders application to create to-do lists. Each individual item on a list can have an alert assigned to it. These alerts can display notifications based on time or location so you'll always remember the items in your reminders.
- [Instructor] Reminders is another pretty simple…application.…I've got it here in the dock so I'll click…on that to launch it.…And in this application you can set up…to do lists, or other similar lists.…And you can set the reminders application to show you…a notification alert reminding you of something…at a certain time, or when you're in a certain location.…First, I want to mention these categories we see…over here on the left.…I see a category labeled iCloud…and then I see two lists below it.…So, as we saw in the notes movie…and also in the chapters on mail, contacts and calendars,…you can set this application to synchronize…with certain online accounts.…
And that's why I see the iCloud category here.…Now you may remember if you watch those other movies,…that I set up an iCloud account…and a Google account, with this computer.…But the reminders application is only going…to sync with an iCloud account.…It's not going to sync with my other accounts…so that's why I only see iCloud,…I do not see Google here.…If you do not have an iCloud account at all,…
