In this course I've covered the major processes of project management and explained many techniques for managing projects effectively; however, there are many sources of information you can explore to learn more. Here are a few books I recommend. My book, Successful Project Management: Applying Best Practices and Real-World Techniques with Microsoft Project, covers both project management and how to use Microsoft Project and other programs to perform many of your day-to-day tasks.

It comes with examples and templates you can download to use on your own projects. I also recommend Project Planning, Scheduling and Control by James P Lewis. It's engaging, easy to read, and filled with useful information. Making Things Happen by Scott Berkun is a practical and pragmatic guide to getting the right things done in the right way.
