Join Kalinda Raina—head of global privacy at LinkedIn—to learn about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): what it is, why it matters, and how it impacts your company.
- When I started my privacy career, there weren't many privacy laws in place, but over the last 20 years we've seen a rise in the amount of data collected and processed. As a result, Europe has taken the lead in protecting personal data with the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR. My name is Kalinda Raina, and as a privacy practitioner, I'm excited to provide you with an overview of the GDPR and hopefully a better understanding of its significance. In this course you'll learn what the GDPR is, how it came about, the basic requirements of the law, and why this law matters to you and your company.
Are you ready to dig in and learn more about the GDPR and its impact on you? Let's get started.
