- Working with your team is different when you're working remotely. All the basic team needs are still the same. People have to understand what's expected of them, they need the right resources, and they need to communicate effectively. But the technology you use is a little different. Okay, now let's briefly talk about the types of technology you'll need to be most effective when you're working remotely. But remember, these tools are just that, tools. So don't lose sight of the goals they serve, which include keeping others up to speed on your status, attending meetings to learn about the group's status, asking questions, sharing knowledge, and connecting with others for personal and professional collaboration.
