Strategizing for a cohesive story

- When you present individually, for better or worse, you can control the planning. But presenting in teams means a large portion of your preparation needs to be coordinated and shared. Failure to work together at the beginning of your preparation can mean lots of headaches down the road. One of the first things you'll want to make clear is a shared understanding of the purpose or goal of your presentation. Why are you presenting? Is it to inform, persuade, or motivate? Your purpose may even be a combination of some of these. Regardless, it's important for your team to be in agreement about the purpose of your presentation. The more specific you can be about this, the better. Once you've nailed down the goals of your presentation, you can start to strategize, as a team, for the actual presentation.
