Seamless transitions

- The fastest runners in the world can't win the 4 x 100 relay race if they don't hand off the baton seamlessly. Similarly, strong individual presenters don't give a good team presentation without carefully planned and executed transitions. Your transitions from one speaker to the next are the glue that holds the entire presentation together. A transition connects one thought with the next thought or topic your team plans to discuss. This movement from one idea to the next one is an easy place to lose your audience. Clear transitions can make a huge difference with this. For example, after you've introduced your idea, you might say something like, "Now that you've heard our idea, "you're probably wondering how we'll market it." And then the next person on your team can easily pick up where you left off and start discussing the marketing plan.
