- Your telecommunication customers will do business with you because they know you, they like you, and they trust you. And to achieve that you have to network. This may be the digital age, but there is nothing stronger for selling and to telecommunications than a powerful network and good old-fashioned relationships. So, what do you need to know to network effectively in the telecommunications industry? First, you need to know who you're looking for. And for networking and telecommunications to be effective you need to be strategic. Make a list of 10 or 20 prospects, leaders, and CEOs. It doesn't matter if you know them, just put them on your list. This is who you're looking for. The goal of networking is to naturally meet people who you would ultimately want to do business with.
