(upbeat energetic music) - While I was working in Product Marketing which I liked, I went on maternity leave with my second child and when I came back, they told me that I'd been laid off while I was on maternity leave so now I'm like I don't have a job and I am never gonna put myself in a position where someone can lay me off again, where somebody else's plans mean that I don't have a job. I felt so much pressure from other people saying "Find your passion, you know you should follow your bliss" and I didn't have a bliss or a passion that really tied in with work and so I started consulting independently and for the first year, again, I didn't have any one area of focus but I just did strategy and marketing and product and whatever the companies needed and were willing to pay for. And then about a year into it, I started working with Netflix and I fell in love with the business model and I started teasing it apart and saying what is it that they're doing so well.
