- One of the most difficult challenges we face as salespeople is that we can be pulled in so many different directions. There are presentations to prepare and sales calls to make, reports for our managers that always seem to be due yesterday, and account tracking databases that require us to input new information, and of course revise sales forecasts that the finance department needs by the end of the day. Candidly, it can be a bit overwhelming at times as we try to support our accounts, handle the tasks that our managers want us to focus on, and keep colleagues from marketing, business development, and other departments informed of our efforts.
