- Depending on how long you've worked for your current employer, you've likely formed relationships with colleagues. You've interacted with cross functional team members and maybe even gotten to know some of the people in Human Resources and possibly even shared a story or two with the staff in the lunchroom. As an internal job candidate, you're a known entity. They've seen your work and they've formed perceptions about your capabilities, your interests, and your values.
