- Can you tell what another person is thinking just by looking at their face? Our face is so expressive, it's hard not to show exactly what we're thinking or feeling, and that can cause a lot of trouble in the business world if your face is telling a different story than your body and words. Facial expressions are a significant part of our communication. There are numerous studies on how simple eye movements can tell people if we're being honest, interested, and if we're likable. In this video, we'll explore what various facial expressions say about us. Eye contact is extremely important. Making direct, thoughtful contact with a speaker shows you're interested in what they have to say. Avoiding eye contact can make you seem less trustworthy, and holding contact too long or too intensely can make the speaker uncomfortable.
