Purpose-driven sales

- Everyone always wants to know, how do I create a top-performing sales team? I'm Lisa McLeod, I'm the author of Selling with Noble Purpose. And the answer is simple, but it's not easy. So our research revealed that salespeople who truly want to make a difference, who sell with what we call noble purpose, actually outsell salespeople focused on targets and quotas. And the interesting thing about this, is if you think about the conversation that exists inside of most organizations, it's hit the number, hit the number, beat the number, beat the number. But actually, if you want to create a top-performing sales organization, the narrative should be improve life for the customer. Do it bigger, do it better, do it bolder than anyone else. And so, one of the things that we did in the purpose-driven sales course was really show people how do you bring that sense of purpose to the floor, how do you codify it with your sales team and how do you use it to beat the competition?
