A huge mistake you can make is trying to hire away client employees or solicit business from their customers. First, most contracts contain nonsolicitation clauses. Second, your client will have a huge issue with you creating a gap on their team when you hire away a key employee of theirs. Clients also don't take kindly to you selling your services to their customers because they've worked hard to build those customer relationships. These are two major no-nos you should avoid at all costs.
