- Okay, now that you've heard examples of all 25 sales stories, you'll wanna start working on finding your own. Here's how to get started. First, download the list of all 25 sales stories. That's you wish list of sales stories. Second, make notes beside each one with ideas for what person and situation to build your story around. You've probably already started working on some of them, so write down the ideas you already have, but set aside some time each day to brainstorm ideas until you have all of them completed. Okay, third, prioritize your needs. Put an A, B, or a C next to each story based on how important or maybe urgent it is for you. Then work through your stories in that order. Okay, fourth, share your wish list with other people you work with, your boss, other sales people, even your best customers. Ask them to help you think of great examples to use for your stories. You'll be amazed at how willing people are to share their stories when they know you're looking for one…
