- At the risk of sounding like a broken record, investing is a lifelong journey. What you know now is less than what you'll know a year from now, and much less than 10 years from now, provided, of course, that you spend the time to continue to read, watch, ask, and learn. With time and practice, this knowledge translates into behavior change and increased confidence. You work hard for your money. When you think of how much time and effort that goes into earning it, it makes a lot of sense to invest the time and effort into saving and growing it. So, now what? Make a list of resources and practices that work for you for where you are now. Some may be too simple or too complex, but keep going until you find out what works for you.
