- Facilitating workshops is an ongoing journey of discovery. There will always be new content and materials to present. But additionally, even if you're facilitating the same content again and again, the participants unique to that session will make it unlike any of the others you facilitate. So resist the urge to get everything perfect and static. Instead, embrace the ever-evolving nature of workshop facilitation and the magic that happens when people come together to learn. As you further hone your skills, continue your own learning journey. This includes signing up for other people's workshops and being a participant yourself. A few times a year, I attend a workshop or retreat on something that interests me. And I always walk away with some new valuable piece of information, insight or skill that helps me be a better leaders.
