Managing the work-life balance
- Some of the great things about being a field sales representative, are that you're able to run your own business in your home. You're not tied to a desk in the corporate headquarters and for the most part, you're setting your own schedule. However, for many who work remotely, problem can arise because the home office is right down the hallway from the kitchen, the backyard with the kids playing, or your spouse, partner, or roommate, who's listening to loud music. This creates the challenge of balancing your personal life with your work life and making sure one isn't being prioritized over another. The issue of work life balance has increasingly become more of a problem in all professions. A lot of this has to do with our use of technology, which has made it so easy to be in contact with people 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
